From the heart of Jerusalem
From the aromatic allies of the old city in Jerusalem we started with our unique brand: Jafar Sweets, specializing in oriental sweets, and known for our best Kunafeh. Today Jafar Company is a large family owned company that was established in 1994. Consequently, we emerged to an importing, distributing and merchandising company in East Jerusalem and the Palestinian Markets. We have become one of the leading distributors in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) including a variety of exclusive brands including food and non-food products. With more than 12 different international, exclusively, imported, distributed, and sub-distributed brands.
Knowing the challenges faced by the Palestinian market and being able to understand and seize the available opportunities, our ongoing success lies in our ability to adapt, and remain credible. With constant trust in our suppliers and from our customers we were given the opportunity to flourish and furthermore expand.
In 1993 Jafar Co. began its journey with a clear vision and mission, one salesman and a warehouse of 150 Sqm space. However, in the past 20 years we have grown. Now we operate with a staff of over 100 employees including 30 salesmen, four remote warehouses and a total space of 7,000 Sqm. Our employees are the essence of our company as they are the biggest part of our current success. Knowledge of the market we work in and the method of dealing with clients are fundamental among Jafar employees. Supervisors are there to guide employees through their training process and throughout their careers. All aspiring to satisfy our clients, and bring products with quality served with passion.

From the experience we have gained throughout the years – we have found certain distribution methods to be more effective than others. Hence we started following two main sales systems van-sale operation and pre-order operation. Our distribution teams use numerous delivery trucks to handle the distribution of the products.
